No day is ever the same in our people team, which I see as a positive because it presents an abundance of opportunities to learn new things and grow personally and professionally.

I am a multi-skilled HR professional, with over 16 years of experience spanning HR administration, payroll management, recruitment and training in a variety of sectors. Over the course of my career, my role has evolved from providing tactical administrative support with tasks like filling talent gaps or handling employee relations issues to a more strategic people management mandate, working closely with leadership and driving workplace culture.
Rapid advancements in technology have also played a big role in changing the HR landscape and how we manage the hiring lifecycle process. I’ve found it’s been important to grasp new technologies and apply them to meet business needs.

What’s a moment or experience that’s had a big impact on who you are today?
There’s no one big moment, more many smaller moments where colleagues both within and outside of work that have affirmed the positive impact and difference that HR has had for them. Our careers occupy a central part of our lives so when people remember how my work in HR has contributed to this, it makes me feel proud that I’ve been able to improve the lives of the people I work with.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside work, I love quad biking and spending time with my wife and son (my 9-year-old buddy!). You’ll generally find us whizzing around the town on our e-scooter during weekends.
