What’s your role?
I am the Product Owner/Business Analyst for Tax at IDR.  I define the development and evolution of our Tax Service offering based on analysis of the private equity markets, regulatory and customer requirements.

This includes mapping out the minimum viable product, leading the SCRUM, prioritising the backlog, helping to shape the final outcome with the development teams and overseeing development stages.

When you work at IDR, you get to work on multiple aspects of an innovation. All of these aspects have the same end-goal of simplifying a particular solution. I have been working my magic in the financial services sector for the past 20 years and implemented a range of tax solutions (IT3 reporting, Provisional Tax IT3a/IRP5, Digital correspondence, Tax compliance tracker and FATCA CRS reporting).

I earned a Nedbank Group Finance Formal Award in 2018 and Old Mutual Project team player award in 2020.

My educational background includes a B. Com degree in Management and a B. Com Hons degree in Business Management. I am a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer and completed my Web development and design certification through Dimension Data.
