The Managing Director leads our Investment Tax Services with overall responsibility for service delivery, innovation and commercial expansion. Displaying real subject expertise, they deliver great service, continually improve our clients’ experience and thus accelerate revenue growth.

Responsibilities & KPIs

Grow our Services

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of and fascination by the tax requirements of private market participants
  • ​Scan the regulatory horizon and absorb feedback from client pitches to develop a model of trends and opportunities
  • ​Create a clear profile of each of our existing clients, their future activity and how we can help them succeed
  • ​Identify and communicate the principal target market segments and buyer personas
  • ​Build relationships with existing clients that are founded on reliable expertise and grow our wallet share
  • ​Proactively seek new clients, through networking and supporting our marketing initiatives as subject matter expert
  • Develop acknowledged expertise and presence for IDR Investment Tax Services online, in conjunction with our marketing team

Deliver our services

  • ​Recruit and retain productive staff who adapt well to the ID Register culture
  • ​Monitor and maximize the productivity of all Tax Team staff
  • ​Ensure that all FATCA-CRS and Withholding Tax activity is undertaken within a systemized and defined process
  • ​Interact with clients, lawyers, investors and administrators effectively and professionally
  • ​Work with the Operations Director to identify and support the productivity and training needs of colleagues and, occasionally, clients within agreed timescales
  • ​Deputize for the Group Operations Director in their absence
  • ​Act as the central point of contact for all procedural and subject matter questions relating to the Tax services
  • Actively encourage a culture of continuous improvement through new ideas
  • ​Clearly own the local delivery of our services in the view of clients and your team members

​Evolve our technology

  • ​Maximize the use of technology in all operational processes in order to control risk and improve efficiency
  • ​Understand the system design and how it is applied
  • ​Own and advocate for the Investment Tax Services technology roadmap
  • ​Act as the central point of contact for Investment Tax process maps and evolve them regularly

Candidate requirements

The successful candidate will offer a proven track record of leading and developing commercial teams in the private funds market. You will have a thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape and be familiar with industry best practice. Knowledge of fund services providers and private fund managers is essential.
